The Brashear softball team was on the road at Linn County Friday night. There was no doubt that it would be a high-scoring game after Brashear took a 6-5 lead after 2 innings. Things really got crazy in the 3rd as Brashear pushed across 11 runs on their way to a 20-8, 5-inning win. Alexa Higgins almost hit for the cycle as she homered in the 1st, then followed up with a triple and a pair of singles. Hannah Grissom had a single and 2 doubles, Atalie Hagan had a single, 2 doubles, and a triple, Tanna Garlock and Aubrey Bleything had 2 hits each, and Kynleigh White also had a hit. Atalie Hagan got the win, striking out 6.
